Get involved

IngressFS is a monthly meet-up for Ingress players. It is cross-faction and friendly: the point is to share knowledge, help new players find their feet, and keep good relations between the factions. You do not need to be any good at the game, and you do not need to know anybody.

The badge tick

The First Saturday badge has requirements, and they are worth knowing before you arrive rather than after.

For the event to count, there must be a group photo with at least ten agents in it, and the passcode challenge must be completed within the two-hour play window.

For you to count, you need to submit your start and end stats, and to have gained at least 10,000 AP during that two-hour window. That is a modest amount — a steady hour of hacking and linking will do it — but it will not happen by itself if you spend the whole session talking.

The committee will add more here — what a typical day looks like, what to bring, and how to find everyone when you arrive.
